Microneedling 

Microneedling is known to improve the appearance of acne scars, age spots (also called sun spots), fine lines and wrinkles, large pores, reduced skin elasticity, and uneven skin tone.

The frequency of microneedling treatments can vary based on the skin condition and the desired results, but generally, treatments are spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. For best results, our practitioners recommend a series of 3-6 treatments.

Microneedling can be slightly uncomfortable, but the pain level is generally minimal as the needles used are very fine. Topical anaesthetics will be applied to numb the skin before the procedure to reduce discomfort.

Recovery from microneedling is relatively quick. Most people experience redness and mild swelling for a few days following the procedure. The skin may also feel tight and sensitive to touch. Complete healing generally occurs within a week.

Common side effects include minor redness, irritation, and dryness in the treated areas. These typically resolve within a few days post-treatment. More severe side effects, such as infection or scarring, are rare and usually associated with non-professional treatments.

Visible changes to the skin develop over the course of several days and weeks following the treatment. Skin can appear more radiant and rejuvenated as early as two weeks. However, the full results of increased collagen production may take several months to appear.
